The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of York city centre, in a slightly more secluded area with beautiful grounds. While the rooms have been recently refurbished, there is a fan extractor in the toilet to be aware of, and the air conditioning may not be the best. The hospitality provided by the staff was exceptional, making me feel comfortable after a long day of touring. The dining options offer various rates and big salads. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor room concerns but excellent service.
